Sally Zhang

Master student

Sally is a 4th-year Msci Neuroscience student at UCL. She is interested in brain mechanisms underlying the variability of

behaviour. Her Master's project focuses on the link between the variability of brain activity and fluctuations of behavioural performance in a visually guided behaviour.

Isobel Parkes

Master student

Isobel is a 4th-year Msci Neuroscience student at UCL. She is interested in how the brain transforms sensory inputs into actions and how this process is influenced by internal state. Her Master's project focuses on neuronal underpinnings of behavioural variability in a visually guided task.

Nils Nyberg

Postdoctoral researcher

Nils holds a BSc in psychology from Lund University and an MSc in neuroscience from the University of Oxford. He recently completed his PhD project at UCL, working with Prof Hugo Spiers and Dr Caswell Barry. Nils applies his expertise in electrophysiological, behavioural and computational techniques to delve into the neuronal underpinnings of sensory processing & behaviour.

Zicong Qiu aka Zander

Research assistant

Freshly graduated with a Master of Brain Sciences from UCL, Zicong studied the influence of visual stimulus characteristics on audiovisual integration within the auditory cortex of ferrets. His ambitions now revolve around mastering the art of mouse behaviour training as he aspires to become a skilled 'mouse whisperer'.
